Fund Identity
What it is, who runs it, where it lives.
The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek current income.
PLTY is an actively managed ETF that employs a synthetic covered call strategy (or synthetic covered call spread strategy) to generate monthly income while providing indirect exposure to the share price returns of Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR). The Fund does not own PLTR directly; instead it uses a combination of purchased and sold call and put options (including FLEX options) to synthetically replicate ~100% long exposure to PLTR, while selling short-dated call options (0%–15% out-of-the-money, 1-month or less) to generate premium income. U.S. Treasury securities are held as collateral and also contribute income. The strategy limits upside participation beyond the sold call strike price while retaining full downside exposure.

The Fund buys at-the-money call options and sells at-the-money put options on PLTR to create ~100% synthetic long exposure, then writes short-dated (1-month or less) call options with strike prices approximately 0%–15% above the current share price to generate premium income. Alternatively, the Adviser may sell credit call spreads (selling a call and buying a higher-strike call) when it anticipates significant near-term appreciation in PLTR. The Fund continuously rolls its options positions as they expire or are exercised.

Distribution Composition (Recent)
ROC is not free money — it lowers your cost basis. When shares are sold, capital gains are computed against the lower basis.
Composition · Narrative
Trailing-quarter return of capital averaged 51.5% of distributions (dollar-weighted across 14 distributions payable 3/27/26–6/26/26). Most recent distribution (6/26/26): 0.0% ROC. Single-week ROC is volatile for option-income funds; the dollar-weighted quarter is the steadier read.

Price $27.45 is below the 200-day SMA ($35.72); 50-day SMA $32.03. The 50-day SMA sits below the 200-day — an established downtrend, no recent crossover. Moving-average signals are a timing aid, not a recommendation — weigh them against the distribution profile and framework score.
