Fund Identity
What it is, who runs it, where it lives.
The Amplify CWP Growth & Income ETF seeks to provide capital appreciation as its primary investment objective and to provide high current income as its secondary investment objective..
The Fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in growth-oriented U.S. exchange-traded equity securities, primarily large-capitalization stocks selected from the Russell 1000® Growth Index based on earnings growth, competitive advantages, and sector momentum. CWP constructs a concentrated portfolio of approximately 20 to 40 stocks and tactically writes short-term (one-month or less) covered call options on individual equity holdings to generate additional income (targeting 4-6% from option premiums and 0-2% from dividends). The Fund may also sell uncovered call options on broad market indexes and ETFs to hedge market exposure or adjust risk.

Ordinary Income
CWP tactically writes short-term covered call options (expiration of one month or less) on some or all equity holdings to target 4-6% gross income from option premiums, rather than employing a systematic full-coverage program. The Fund may also write uncovered call options on broad market indexes and ETFs to hedge market exposure or adjust portfolio risk, which exposes the Fund to potentially unlimited losses on those uncovered positions.
