Fund Identity
What it is, who runs it, where it lives.
The Global X Nasdaq 100® Covered Call & Growth ETF (the "Fund") seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Cboe Nasdaq-100 Half BuyWrite V2 Index (the "Underlying Index")..
The Fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities of the Cboe Nasdaq-100 Half BuyWrite V2 Index, which holds the stocks of the NASDAQ-100 Index and writes one-month at-the-money covered call options corresponding to approximately 50% of the portfolio's value each calendar month. By writing calls on only half the portfolio, the strategy generates option premium income while retaining partial upside participation in the NASDAQ-100. The Fund generally uses a full replication indexing approach, holding the component securities of the Reference Index in approximately the same proportions as the Underlying Index.

ROC is not free money — it lowers your cost basis. When shares are sold, capital gains are computed against the lower basis.
Composition · Narrative
The May 2026 distribution of $0.2067 per share is composed almost entirely of Return of Capital (96.10%, or $0.1986), with only a small portion (3.90%, or $0.0081) from Net Investment Income. On a fiscal year-to-date basis, 95.62% of cumulative distributions have been classified as Return of Capital, indicating the fund continues to distribute more than its earned income.
