TYG is a nondiversified, closed-end management investment company that invests at least 90% of its total assets in securities of energy infrastructure companies and at least 70% of its total assets in equity securities of MLPs. The fund focuses on publicly traded master limited partnerships in the energy infrastructure sector, including companies engaged in transporting, processing, storing, distributing or marketing natural gas, natural gas liquids, coal, crude oil or refined petroleum products. The fund also may invest in debt securities of energy infrastructure companies and uses leverage (targeting approximately 25% of total assets) to seek enhanced returns.
